Duke and Duchess meet Jacinda Ardern as they arrive in New Zealand
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have touched down in New Zealand for the final leg of their royal tour, for a day which will see them take in a haka, a hongi, and celebrate the 125th anniversary of womenâs suffrage.
The couple, who flew from Sydney on a Royal New Zealand Air Force plane along with members of the countryâs Invictus Games squad, were welcomed at the airport by Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern.
The Invictus homecoming saw competitors pose with the Duke and Duchess for a team photograph, in Prince Harryâs final moments this year with the sick and wounded service men and women he has got to know well since founding the tournament in 2014.
The Duke and Duchess, wearing an ASOS maternity wear dress and Karen Walker trench coat, were greeted on the tarmac by the Prime Minister and Wellington Mayor Justin Lester with his wife Liz.
Afterwards, Harry an d Meghan joined the Invictus athletes for a group photo, with the Duchess compelled to adjust her dress and coat that kept blowing in the strong winds.Source: Google News New Zealand | Netizen 24 New Zealand
